PRICING​

All of our costs include VAT ​and we always work within a parent's budget 
​(but we do not do legal aid work)

We pride ourselves on being transparent about our costs and our pricing structure is very simple...

​1st Meeting
(videoconference with Douglas, which lasts about an hour) 

 ​£250 (fixed fee)

We then usually help in one of two ways, as follows:

(Abbreviations: EHCP = Education, Health & Care Plan/SEND = Special Educational Needs & Disability)

• ‘Pay As You Go’ ​(general advice pre-/post- EHCP): ​​

​£250 (per hour)

---

• ​‘Capped Fee’ (SEND Tribunal appeals)​:

(charged only for work done to hearing and then fees are capped) 

-  Appeal against refusal to assess for EHCP:
-  Appeal against refusal to make EHCP after assessment:

​£1,500/month for 6 months
plus further £1,500, if hearing needed

- Appeal against contents of EHCP: 

£2,500/month for 6 months
plus further £2,500, if hearing needed

N.B All work charged at £250 per hour/Retainer required/
​Unused monies always returned at end/Any work must always be paid in advance/Disbursements (e.g. expert fees) not included
