Client Care
We believe strongly in the principle of 'client care' and in assisting clients to get what they need or want. We are able to do this by using our legal expertise to help them navigate around the legal system successfully.
We pride ourselves on being able to give straightforward, honest and sometimes just common sense advice.
We are known for going the extra mile for our clients and to always try and empower them for the future, wherever possible, so that they may not need to come back to us again.
We aim to follow this 10-point statement of intent:
(1) We try and help clients in achieving what they want or what they need by using our legal expertise and experience.
(2) We do not raise client's expectations unrealistically.
(3) We are up-front with clients from the start as to whether or not we may be able to help them and will ensure that they are aware of what the overall financial and emotional costs may be in bringing a legal action.
(4) We write letters in plain English without 'legalese' wherever possible.
(5) We only accept cases where we will be able to give them the time and resources that they need to be dealt with properly.
(6) We have clear and fair billing practices for privately funded clients, including fixed fees wherever possible, and will ensure that they know where they stand in terms of overall legal costs.
(7) We return all calls and deal with all incoming correspondence as soon as possible.
(8) We ensure that clients receive copies of all important correspondence and documents in their case.
(9) We make sure that clients are kept up to date with what is happening in their case and will explain fully the implications of any decisions that they may have to make, after providing them with our best advice.
(10) We use our best endeavours to try to bring cases to a swift, successful and final conclusion so that there may be no need for our clients to have to seek further legal advice or representation in the future on the same matter.
